How much electricity does a greenhouse consume per m² per year?
Annual greenhouse consumption is estimated by summing load × operating hours for climate, irrigation, lighting and auxiliary systems, then dividing by covered area to get kWh/m²/yr and annual OPEX.
- Formula: kWh/yr = Σ (kW load × annual operating hours).
