We act as an independent neutral intermediary and do not manufacture, breed, install, warrant, insure or finance any product or project. 4. Sharing with Suppliers, financing partners and processors
When you submit an RFQ or financing enquiry, the project details required to produce a quotation are shared with selected Suppliers or financing partners. Personal contact details are shared only with the Third Parties you choose to engage. Each Third Party acts as an independent data controller under its own privacy policy. We also use trusted processors for hosting (cloud infrastructure), authentication, database, email delivery, transactional messaging, analytics and customer messaging; each is bound by a written data-processing agreement, purpose limitation and security obligations.
5. International transfers
Your personal data may be processed in countries outside your own, including outside the European Economic Area. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), UK IDTA/Addendum, adequacy decisions or explicit consent, and we perform transfer risk assessments where applicable.
6. Retention
Personal data is retained for as long as needed to provide the service and honour our contractual, tax, accounting, AML/CTF, sanctions and legal-defence obligations, typically up to 7 years from the last interaction, or longer where required by law. You may request deletion at any time subject to overriding legal grounds.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including EU/UK GDPR, and comparable laws such as LGPD, PIPL, CCPA/CPRA, PIPEDA and Israel's Privacy Protection Law), you have rights of: access; rectification; erasure; restriction; portability; objection (including to direct marketing and profiling); withdrawal of consent at any time (without affecting prior processing); and the right to lodge a complaint with your competent supervisory authority (in Cyprus: Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection). To exercise these rights: privacy@seedmatchgroup.com.
8. Automated decision-making & AI
The platform uses matching algorithms and AI-assisted features (RFQ scoring, supplier matching, agronomic summaries, translations, calculators). These are decision-support tools; they do not produce legal or similarly significant effects without human review, and a human specialist remains involved in every commercial introduction.
9. Security
We apply administrative, technical and organisational safeguards including encryption in transit, encrypted storage, access controls, role-based permissions, logging and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure; please use strong, unique passwords and contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. See our Responsible Disclosure Policy.
10. Children
The platform is a B2B service intended solely for professional and business use. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
11. Cookies
Our use of cookies and similar technologies is described in the Cookie Policy.
12. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the website.
