Seed price calculator

Compare seed-for-sowing import unit values by HS code and country, then calculate a quantity-based customs-value reference. These averages are not supplier prices or quotations.

Official HS trade observations

HS 120110: Soya beans, seed. Only separately classified sowing seed is included. Vegetable seeds, other oilseeds and food pulses are not covered here. Latest five reported calendar years; missing years stay missing.

Quantity-based customs-value reference

—

Selected annual USD/kg × your quantity. A historical customs average is not a price forecast, landed-cost quote or recommended procurement budget. It does not establish variety, certification, germination, purity, supplier quality, taxes or local delivery costs.

Calculate from your own customs record

Use matching import value and net weight from the same HS code, country, year and flow. Your entries are not verified official feed observations and do not enter the trend above.

Method and next steps

UN Comtrade import value divided by declared net weight gives a CIF customs average. Changes can reflect product mix, variety, reporting or source-estimated weight; they do not by themselves show supplier price inflation. No currency conversion or missing-data interpolation is applied. Procurement requests retain the USD 250,000 minimum.
