Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to every visitor, buyer, supplier, financing applicant and account holder ("you") using seedmatchgroup.com (the "Platform") and is incorporated into our Terms of Service. Breach of this AUP may result in immediate suspension or termination and referral to competent authorities.
1. General principles
Use the Platform lawfully, honestly and only for legitimate B2B agricultural sourcing, procurement, project planning and financing purposes. Do not use it to harm SeedMatchGroup, other users, Third Parties or the public.
2. Prohibited conduct
- Unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive or misleading activity of any kind.
- Submitting false, fake, exaggerated or synthetic company, project, financial, agronomic, permit or identity information.
- Impersonating any person or entity, or misrepresenting your affiliation.
- Fake RFQs, bid stuffing, price manipulation, review manipulation, sock-puppet accounts or artificial demand.
- Counterfeit products, illegal seed multiplication, PVP/UPOV infringement, illegal pesticide/agrochemical trade or biosecurity violations.
- Any transaction involving sanctioned persons, sanctioned jurisdictions, terrorist financing, money laundering, tax evasion, corruption or bribery.
- Unauthorised export, re-export, diversion or restricted end-use of goods, technology or software.
- Discrimination, harassment, hateful, violent or sexually exploitative content.
- Uploading malware, viruses, ransomware, worms, trojans or malicious code.
- Unauthorised access, credential stuffing, brute force, penetration testing without written permission, security probing or exploitation.
- Scraping, crawling, harvesting, spidering, data mining, bulk copying or systematic extraction of Platform content, listings, prices or user data.
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling or attempting to derive source code, models or algorithms.
- Framing, mirroring, republishing or reselling Platform content, listings or matches.
- Bypassing rate limits, quotas, access controls, security features or geographic restrictions.
- Disintermediation, off-platform circumvention or attempts to solicit Platform users to avoid SeedMatchGroup.
- Sending spam, phishing, unauthorised marketing or unsolicited bulk communications.
- Interfering with the operation, integrity or availability of the Platform, including denial-of-service, injection attacks or resource exhaustion.
- Infringing any intellectual property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality or other legal right.
3. Marketplace integrity
Suppliers must publish only accurate, current and lawfully authorised listings, and must not use the Platform to solicit customers to transact off-platform or to bypass introduction fees, verification steps or dispute handling. Buyers must submit genuine, project-backed RFQs and must not use the Platform for market intelligence gathering without a genuine intent to procure.
4. AI and automated systems
You may not use bots, automated agents, LLM crawlers or AI systems to interact with, scrape, index, train on or extract Platform content, structured data or user information without prior written permission. Our robots.txt and ai.txt directives must be respected.
5. Reporting
Report abuse, fraud, counterfeit products, IP infringement, sanctions concerns or security issues to legal@seedmatchgroup.com. Vulnerabilities: see Responsible Disclosure Policy.
6. Enforcement
Without limiting our other rights, SeedMatchGroup reserves the right, at its sole discretion and where appropriate, to warn, throttle, remove content, delist, suspend, permanently terminate accounts, pursue civil or criminal remedies, and cooperate with law-enforcement or regulatory authorities in the case of any actual or suspected breach.
