Apply privately as a South African produce or crop-input supplier

For commercial growers, packers and exporters of avocados, tomatoes and cherries, and for suppliers of seed, irrigation, protected cultivation, fertilizers and other inputs. We review every application before we approach any applicant for a buyer request.

What happens to your application

  • It is private. It is not a public listing, and your details are not shown to buyers.
  • A specialist reviews it and may ask for documents. Inventory, certifications, registrations and market access are not treated as confirmed until verified.
  • Growers, packers and exporters go to our producer review; seed, equipment and input suppliers go to our supplier review.
  • When a reviewed buyer request fits your verified capability, we approach you. Buyer identities and requests stay confidential, and buyers and suppliers do not contact each other directly.
  • Applying does not guarantee a buyer, an order, a price or export approval.

SeedMatch facilitates sourcing; it does not grow, pack, buy or export produce. Naming a company elsewhere on this site, such as in our market guides, does not mean it participates in SeedMatch.

Frequently asked questions

Will my company be listed publicly?

No. Applications are private and are not published as listings. Buyers never see your details or contact you directly; any introduction happens only after review, through SeedMatch.

Does applying guarantee a buyer or an order?

No. Applying does not guarantee a buyer, an order, a price or export approval. We approach applicants only when a reviewed buyer request matches their verified capability.

How are certifications and capacity checked?

Everything you enter is applicant-declared. Before any matching we ask for supporting documents, for example certificates with expiry dates, registered production unit or packhouse codes and capacity evidence.

Does SeedMatch grow, pack or export produce?

No. SeedMatch facilitates sourcing: it reviews buyer requests and approaches suitable suppliers. It does not grow, pack, buy or export produce, and harvested-produce programmes are coordinated through Global B2B Group, the parent group's buyer-first marketplace.

Who is responsible for export and product compliance?

Each participant is responsible for the requirements of its own role under applicable law. As a supplier you remain responsible for your products meeting the product, quality, licensing, certification, labelling, traceability, phytosanitary, export and documentation requirements of the origin and destination countries, where relevant; buyers remain responsible for their own import permissions and due diligence. SeedMatch does not guarantee any supplier's compliance, and this is not legal advice.

Which suppliers can apply?

Commercial growers, packers and exporters of avocados, tomatoes and cherries in South Africa, and suppliers of seed, nursery plants, irrigation, fertigation, protected cultivation, fertilizers, crop protection and post-harvest equipment for those crops.
