What information does an agriculture RFQ need?

Project identity and stage
Suppliers price risk, not just equipment. Stage tells them how firm the scope is.

- Access roads, logistics constraints and port of entry
- Available buildings, packhouse, cold chain and labour supply
Technical scope per discipline
Define what is inside the request. Undefined boundaries are the main reason offers cannot be compared.
- Structures and covering: greenhouse type, height, span, screens, cladding
- Climate: ventilation, cooling, heating, screening, CO₂, control system
- Water and irrigation: main line, pumping, filtration, fertigation, in-field distribution
- Inputs: seeds, substrate, fertilizers, crop protection, packaging
- Agritech: sensors, drones, monitoring, farm management software
- Explicit exclusions and interfaces with local contractors
Commercial frame
A realistic band gets serious offers faster than an open-ended request.
