Manufacturer partnerships
Manufacturer Partnership Programme for International Agriculture Projects
SeedMatchGroup works on the buyer side of commercial agriculture projects: turnkey greenhouses, irrigation and fertigation systems, seed processing and production facilities, nurseries and agricultural infrastructure. Projects are reviewed by a human specialist before any supplier is contacted, and a structured RFQ is issued so that capable manufacturers quote the same defined scope.
This page explains how manufacturers take part. It is a capability registration, not a listing purchase. There is no public supplier directory, no paid ranking and no certification badge. What registration does is place a factory's verified-by-you capability record where a project specialist can consider it when a reviewed project matches that capability.
How does a manufacturer partner with SeedMatchGroup?
A manufacturer submits a capability record — production scope, factory or trading status, capacity, lead times, crop and climate references, certifications, export markets, installation and after-sales arrangements. A specialist reviews it. When a human-reviewed buyer project matches that capability, SeedMatchGroup contacts the manufacturer with a structured RFQ. Submission alone guarantees no listing, RFQ, buyer introduction, order, contract or exclusivity.
Why project RFQs differ from catalogue enquiries
A catalogue enquiry asks for a price per square metre. A project RFQ defines crop, climate, target production window, water source and quality, energy availability, automation level, post-harvest scope, installation responsibility, training and the interfaces between packages. Manufacturers that can answer at that level of definition quote faster and are compared fairly.
Because the scope is defined before outreach, every manufacturer receives the same brief. That removes the guesswork that makes international agriculture quotations diverge by multiples for what is supposedly the same project.
Which manufacturing regions this programme covers
- India — greenhouse structures, drip and micro-irrigation, pumping, fertigation and farm machinery, with strong cost positions for Africa, South Asia and the Middle East.
- Taiwan — automation, controllers, sensing, LED horticultural lighting and precision components.
- South Korea — smart-farm control systems, hydroponic and vertical growing equipment, environmental control.
- China — full-scope greenhouse structures, covering materials, climate control, irrigation and fertigation head stations at project scale.
- Germany — high-specification glasshouse, climate computing, water treatment and engineering-led delivery.
- France and the wider EU — irrigation networks, fertigation dosing, substrate and nursery systems, post-harvest and cold chain.
What a project-ready manufacturer looks like
Project buyers, development programmes and investors evaluate manufacturers on engineering support and delivery certainty, not brochure quality. Capability records that demonstrate documentation, references in comparable climates and clear after-sales arrangements are usable in far more projects than those that only list product ranges.
Information a capability record should contain
The registration form collects the following. Incomplete records can still be submitted; they are simply usable in fewer projects.
- Legal company details, and whether you are a manufacturer, a trading company or both
- Supply scope by discipline: structures, covering, climate control, irrigation, fertigation, automation, energy, post-harvest
- Annual production capacity and typical lead times
- Crop and climate references — where your equipment already operates, and for which crops
- Certifications and standards you hold, stated accurately and without overstatement
- Export markets served and customs and logistics maturity
- Installation, commissioning, training, spare parts and after-sales arrangements
- Project references at the scale you can genuinely deliver
- Working languages and technical contact
How the process runs
1. Capability registration
You submit your factory's capability record. Nothing is published publicly.
2. Human review
A specialist reviews scope, capacity and references, and may ask clarifying technical questions.
3. Project matching
When a reviewed buyer project needs your discipline, climate experience and delivery scale, you are contacted.
4. Structured RFQ
You receive one defined scope and quote it on the same basis as other qualified manufacturers.
5. Managed communication
Technical and commercial clarification runs through SeedMatchGroup until the buyer takes the project forward.
What this programme is not
- Not a public supplier directory and not a paid listing or ranking service
- Not a certification body — SeedMatchGroup does not certify factories, products or claims
- Not a guarantee of RFQs, buyer introductions, orders, contracts or exclusivity
- Not a direct buyer-to-manufacturer connection service — communication is managed
- Not a lender or financing provider
Questions manufacturers ask
Does registration cost anything?
No. Capability registration is free and no paid placement exists.
Will my company be published on the website?
No. Capability records are internal. Supplier identities are not shown to buyers on public pages.
What project sizes are relevant?
SeedMatchGroup works on commercial projects from around USD 250,000 upwards. Smaller enquiries are generally outside scope.
Can trading companies register?
Yes, provided the record states clearly that you are a trading company and identifies your manufacturing basis.
In which language should I submit?
The registration form is in English, and a Simplified Chinese version is available. Free-text fields may be completed in your working language.
Register your manufacturing capability
Submit your capability record once. It stays available to project specialists for future reviewed projects in your disciplines and climates.
