Is SeedMatch Group a seed breeder, seed producer or seed company?
No. SeedMatch Group does not breed, produce, multiply, treat or certify seed, and it does not hold plant variety rights. It is an independent B2B sourcing and project-coordination platform: it structures the buyer's requirement and connects it to independent breeders, authorised producers, licensees, distributors and exporters. Seed identity, quality, varietal authorisation, treatment and documentation are the responsibility of the selected independent supplier, which is identified to the buyer before contracting.
What actually drives the answer
The buyer contracts and is invoiced directly by the selected supplier. SeedMatch is not a party to that supply contract and does not hold buyer funds.
SeedMatch does not issue germination, purity or phytosanitary certificates. Those come from accredited laboratories and the relevant national authorities.
SeedMatch does not issue final variety recommendations; variety selection is confirmed with an independent agronomist and the breeder or authorised distributor.
