How is the fertigation RFQ different from the irrigation RFQ?

The irrigation RFQ covers the whole water system — network, emitters, pumping, filtration and zones — and includes fertigation as one package. This page goes deeper on the head unit itself: dosing method, channels, tanks, injector capacity and EC/pH control. Use it when the irrigation network already exists or is quoted separately, and use the irrigation RFQ when the whole system is being procured.

Do I need a water analysis before sending a fertigation RFQ?

It is strongly recommended. Bicarbonate, calcium, sodium and iron levels decide acid demand, channel separation and filtration, and a supplier quoting without an analysis will either over-specify or exclude the risk. If you do not have one, mark it as such so the open point is stated rather than guessed.

Does the fertigation quotation include the fertiliser itself?

No. The head unit is a one-time capital purchase; the nutrient products are a recurring input specified against a crop nutrition programme and sourced separately. Keeping them apart makes both comparable and stops a recurring cost being hidden inside an equipment quotation.

How many fertigation quotations will I receive?
