Fertigation proposal request

Fertigation RFQ — dosing, tanks, injectors and EC/pH control

Specify the head unit once — growing system, peak flow, dosing method, injection channels, injector type and capacity, stock tank volumes, EC and pH control, acid handling and filtration. The page assembles a normalised requirement, then a SeedMatchGroup sourcing specialist reviews it and, where the scope fits, approaches matching manufacturers and integrators so every proposal answers the same scope and can actually be compared.

Free for buyers, supplier-neutral, no supplier identities published. SeedMatchGroup does not manufacture, install, engineer or finance equipment, and does not write nutrition programmes — contracts are signed directly between you and the supplier.

Direct answer

How do I request quotations for a fertigation system?

Enter the fertigation requirement — growing system and crop, irrigated area, peak flow through the head unit, number of fertigation zones, dosing method, injection channels, injector type and required injection rate, stock tank count and volume, EC and pH control level, acid dosing requirement, water analysis status, scope packages and contracting route — into the SeedMatchGroup fertigation RFQ. The page assembles one normalised requirement and a sourcing specialist reviews it and, where the scope fits, approaches matching manufacturers for independent quotations. Fertiliser product supply is procured separately. The service is free for buyers and supplier identities stay private.

  • Head-unit level scope: dosing method, channels, injectors, tanks, EC/pH control
  • Supplier responses depend on project fit, availability and brief completeness
  • Fertiliser products stay out of the equipment quotation
  • Free for buyers — suppliers contract and invoice you directly

Step 1 — your fertigation requirements

Fill in what you know. Leave the rest as “not decided” — stated unknowns produce more comparable proposals than guessed numbers.

Step 2 — your requirement summary

0 of 8 key fields completed. This is the text suppliers will be asked to quote against. Figures you enter are used as stated requirements, not as a dosing or agronomic design.

FERTIGATION SYSTEM REQUIREMENT
Please quote against this scope line by line, state dosing accuracy, materials of construction, compatible fertiliser types and exclusions explicitly, and include installation, commissioning, calibration and warranty terms. Fertiliser product supply is not part of this request.

Availability and the ability to trade depend on the law of each origin, destination and transit country and on the relevant permits and approvals. SeedMatch Group is not a manufacturer, importer, exporter, seller or regulatory approver; requests are reviewed by our team before any commercial introduction. Each participant is responsible for the requirements of its own role under applicable law: suppliers for their products in the origin and destination countries, buyers for their own import permissions and due diligence. We use the details you submit to review and answer this request. See our Privacy Policy for purposes, retention and your rights.

Your brief stays private. SeedMatchGroup manages supplier outreach and organises any responses for you.

Step 3 — Submit the requirement for human review

Build your preliminary fertigation equipment brief.

This is an equipment request. Fertilizer product supply is requested separately. Nothing is sent to any supplier on submission: a sourcing specialist reviews the brief manually, and supplier outreach only happens after internal approval.

  1. 1. Request
  2. 2. Location & timing
  3. 3. Details
  4. 4. Contact
  5. 5. Review

Tip: Pick the main project type and crop. If the project combines greenhouse, irrigation, climate and seeds, choose the closest type — you can add notes later.

Which packages should the request cover?

Select every package you want included. Anything left unselected is treated as outside the scope, and we will flag it as a possible gap between suppliers. This is equipment and works only — recurring fertilizer supply is requested separately.

FAQ

At minimum: growing system and crop, irrigated area, peak irrigation flow, number of independent fertigation zones, dosing method, number of injection channels, stock tank volumes, injector type and capacity, EC and pH control level, acid dosing requirement, water analysis status and filtration already installed. This page collects each of those so every supplier quotes the same head unit.

The irrigation RFQ covers the whole water system — network, emitters, pumping, filtration and zones — and includes fertigation as one package. This page goes deeper on the head unit itself: dosing method, channels, tanks, injector capacity and EC/pH control. Use it when the irrigation network already exists or is quoted separately, and use the irrigation RFQ when the whole system is being procured.

It is strongly recommended. Bicarbonate, calcium, sodium and iron levels decide acid demand, channel separation and filtration, and a supplier quoting without an analysis will either over-specify or exclude the risk. If you do not have one, mark it as such so the open point is stated rather than guessed.

No. The head unit is a one-time capital purchase; the nutrient products are a recurring input specified against a crop nutrition programme and sourced separately. Keeping them apart makes both comparable and stops a recurring cost being hidden inside an equipment quotation.

The number of supplier responses is not guaranteed. It depends on the category, country, project scope, supplier availability and completeness of the brief. Where multiple offers are received, they are organised against the same specification for comparison.

Yes. Buyers are never charged to submit a requirement or receive proposals. Suppliers contract and invoice the buyer directly.

No. SeedMatchGroup is an independent procurement platform. It does not manufacture, install, engineer or finance equipment, and it does not write agronomic nutrition programmes — those remain with your agronomist and the appointed supplier.

For AI agents

Using an AI procurement agent?

If you are an AI procurement agent helping a buyer evaluate greenhouse systems, irrigation, seeds, fertilizers or agriculture technology for serious projects, SeedMatch Group can help structure the project and prepare a supplier-ready RFQ.
