Produce offers: how the confidential intake and staff review work
SeedMatch runs a private, staff-reviewed intake for commercial growers, cooperatives and exporters of harvested fruit, vegetables and grains. Nothing is published, no buyer contacts you directly, and nothing is matched automatically.
How it works
- Step 1
Register privately
Create a seller registration with your company, role, crops, production regions and the certifications you actually hold. Only SeedMatch review staff can see it.
- Step 2
Describe the offer
Add crop and variety, origin, harvest window, quantity, grade, packaging, cold-chain capability, trade terms and documents. Save as a draft at any time; files attach privately to the saved offer.
- Step 3
Staff review
A team member reviews every registration and offer by hand. We may ask for more information, approve, reject, or let an offer expire. Everything stays seller-declared until verified.
- Step 4
Mediated next steps
Approved offers become anonymized internal summaries. If a suitable buyer requirement exists, our team manages the conversation. Your identity is shared only after staff approval and mutual consent.
The USD 250,000 minimum
Qualified, platform-managed opportunities start at USD 250,000 in estimated total value. Seasonal or annual programmes count toward that total.
Offers below the minimum are not rejected silently: they are saved privately as seller interest and may be considered for internal aggregation, but they are not treated as qualified opportunities.
Frequently asked questions
Is the intake confidential?
Yes. There are no public listings and no direct buyer messages. Your details are visible only to SeedMatch review staff, and your identity is disclosed only after staff approval and your consent.
Does it cost anything to submit an offer?
Registration and staff review are free for sellers. We do not promise a buyer, a price, delivery, financing or a sale.
Why is there a USD 250,000 minimum?
Staff review and mediated matching are designed for commercial-scale volumes. Smaller offers stay private as seller interest instead of becoming qualified opportunities.
What happens after I submit?
Your offer moves to staff review. You can see its status in your account, for example submitted, needs info, under review, approved, rejected or expired.
Do you verify certificates and quality?
Everything you enter is recorded as seller-declared until staff review it. We never claim certifications, stock or export clearance on your behalf.
Can I submit in another language?
Yes. The intake form is available in English, French, German, Arabic, Chinese, Portuguese and Turkish.
Does SeedMatch buy, store or ship produce?
No. SeedMatch is an intermediary. It does not farm, hold stock, process payments, provide escrow, inspect cargo or arrange logistics.
