Request for quotation — Türkiye

Türkiye RFQ: greenhouse CAPEX, irrigation and fertilizer

Use this checklist to send one comparable request for a Türkiye protected-cultivation project. It mirrors the Türkiye planning guide: three packages, each broken into the line items suppliers must price. SeedMatchGroup does not build, sell or stock equipment or fertilizer; staff review your request and manage supplier introductions.

Planning structure only — no published prices, no engineering approval, and no financing, yield or ROI promise. Every figure is a buyer input confirmed by dated supplier quotations.

Before you send: request basics

  • Total project value of at least USD 250,000. Below that, the request stays a private draft and is not routed to suppliers.
  • Site location, area in hectares, crops and target planting date.
  • Turkish suppliers quote in TRY, USD or EUR; exported steel, glass and climate equipment is usually hard-currency linked while labour and civil works are TRY. SeedMatchGroup publishes no exchange rates — state your preferred quote currency in the RFQ and ask each supplier to date and fix their conversion and indexation basis.
  • Recent water analysis and any site, soil or topographic survey you already hold.
  • Which packages you want quoted: one, two or all three below.

Package A — Greenhouse structure & CAPEX

Ask every supplier to price these lines separately, in your stated currency, with a dated validity period.

  1. Structure & covering

Ask suppliers to state: Plastic multi-span vs glass/double-poly, gutter height, snow and wind loads for your province

  2. Heating package

Ask suppliers to state: Geothermal resource (licensed, within economic distance) vs gas/biomass boiler, buffer tank, pipe-rail distribution

  3. Thermal & shade screens

Ask suppliers to state: Single or twin thermal screens for night heat loss; movable shade for summer

  4. Cooling & ventilation

Ask suppliers to state: Roof vent automation, high-pressure fogging for coastal summer peaks

  5. Growing system

Ask suppliers to state: Substrate or hydroponic gutters for tomato, cucumber, pepper, strawberry

  6. Irrigation & fertigation plant

Ask suppliers to state: Pump station, filtration, EC/pH dosing, drain recovery (see irrigation block)

  7. Climate automation

Ask suppliers to state: Climate computer, sensors, integration with heating and vents

  8. Contingency & erection

Ask suppliers to state: Erection supervision, grid connection, 5–10% contingency

Package B — Irrigation & fertigation

Coastal wells face salinity intrusion and inland sites depend on regulated water, so Turkish irrigation design is driven by source quality and recirculation. Specify the duty so suppliers quote the same system.

  1. Design duty

Ask suppliers to state: Average and peak demand in L/m²/day (published planning figures: ~4.2 average, ~6.8 peak); gross annual m³ for your area

  2. Source & quality

Ask suppliers to state: Well, channel or municipal; water analysis including EC and chlorides before filtration design

  3. Storage

Ask suppliers to state: Tank or reservoir volume in m³ covering peak-day demand plus reserve

  4. Filtration & treatment

Ask suppliers to state: Sand/disc filtration; treatment where salinity or bicarbonates require it

  5. Fertigation & recirculation

Ask suppliers to state: Dosing channels, EC/pH control, drain recovery (recirculation can cut net intake 30–40% per published planning figures)

  6. Distribution

Ask suppliers to state: Drip line spacing, emitter flow (L/h), sector valves and pressure regulation per block

Package C — Fertilizer supply programme

Plan the fertilizer programme in kg/ha per crop cycle, by source (fertigation vs soil-applied). Turkish fertilizer prices move with import parity and the TRY — obtain dated local quotes rather than relying on any published index.

  1. Crop demand

Ask suppliers to state: N, P₂O₅, K₂O and micronutrient demand in kg/ha per cycle, from your agronomist's recommendation

  2. Fertigation share

Ask suppliers to state: Percentage delivered through drip vs base dressing; soluble grades required

  3. Supply format

Ask suppliers to state: Bagged vs bulk, delivery frequency, on-farm storage in tonnes

  4. Water compatibility

Ask suppliers to state: Water analysis (pH, bicarbonates, EC, chlorides) checked against the planned fertilizer recipe

  5. Season timing

Ask suppliers to state: Purchase windows aligned to the export production calendar; price validity period in each quote

How quotations are compared

  • Same line items, units and design duty for every supplier, so prices are like-for-like.
  • Dated prices with validity period, currency basis and what is excluded (land, freight, post-harvest).
  • SeedMatchGroup staff review the request before any supplier sees it; supplier identities stay confidential and all communication goes through SeedMatchGroup.
  • Buyers use the platform free. No price, yield, financing or delivery outcome is promised.
