Turnkey greenhouse contractor & financing checklist

Planning a commercial greenhouse from USD 250,000? Choose how it is contracted, define the turnkey scope and prepare the file an independent lender will ask for — then check each item for your country.

1. Choose the contracting route

A turnkey or EPC contractor takes design, supply and installation under one contract. Split packages let you buy structure, climate, irrigation and packhouse separately and compare each one. Either way, every offer should answer the same written scope.

2. Prepare for financing

SeedMatchGroup is not a lender or guarantor. Financing comes from independent banks, development finance and export-credit programmes, subject to their own approval. A clear scope and comparable offers make that file stronger.

3. Country checklist

  1. Site: land title or lease, access road, soil and flood risk
  2. Permits: building, water and environmental approvals for this country
  3. Water: source, tested analysis, storage and peak-day demand
  4. Energy: grid capacity, backup and any solar plan
  5. Scope: one turnkey contract or split packages (structure, climate, irrigation, packhouse)
  6. Contractor: references you can verify, local installation and after-sales support
  7. Finance: budget band from USD 250,000, equity share and which independent lender or programme you will approach
