Fertigation & Irrigation Controller Supplier Coverage
SeedMatchGroup screens manufacturers of fertigation heads, EC/pH dosing systems, irrigation controllers, valve manifolds and telemetry against the buyer's crop, recirculation strategy and existing infrastructure. Control philosophy and shortlists are released only through the RFQ flow.
Private sourcing platform. Supplier identities, datasheets, price bands and lead times are released only through the RFQ flow — no public supplier directory.
Coverage & Capabilities
What the screened network covers. Buyer briefs are matched against the full field of qualified manufacturers and integrators.
Single- and multi-channel dosing pumps, Venturi injectors and hydraulic proportioners with EC/pH loop control, recipe scheduling and full data logging.
Field, greenhouse and hydroponic controllers with soil-moisture, radiation-sum, VPD or crop-model-based scheduling, integrated with pump stations and valves.
Latching-solenoid and 24 VAC valve manifolds, decoder systems, pressure regulators and flow meters for large-block irrigation.
Cellular, LoRa and Ethernet telemetry, SCADA integration and alerting, coordinated with pump-station and climate-computer platforms.
Drain-EC, drain-pH and drain-%volume sensors for hydroponic and substrate systems, with closed-loop irrigation strategies.
Access control, firmware update policy and remote-support SLAs reviewed during qualification — controls sit on the same network as fertigation and climate.
Screening & Qualification
How suppliers enter and stay in the screened network.
Open protocol support (Modbus, MQTT, BACnet) verified so controllers integrate with existing pump, climate and farm-management systems.
Reference deployments in comparable crop, region and scale reviewed — not just data-sheet claims.
Configuration, firmware and hardware SLA available in the buyer's region confirmed before shortlisting.

FAQ
- How is fertigation different from a dosing pump?
- A fertigation head is a full sub-system — dosing pumps, mixing tank, EC/pH loop, filtration and control logic — designed to deliver a target nutrient solution to the irrigation manifold, not just inject fertiliser into the mainline.
- Do I need a soil-moisture-based controller?
- For open-field high-value crops and orchards, moisture- or ET-based scheduling typically pays back in one to two seasons. For greenhouse hydroponics, drain-based and radiation-sum strategies dominate.
- Which protocol should the controller support?
- Modbus TCP and MQTT are widely required. If a climate computer or SCADA is already on site, protocol compatibility is captured in the RFQ before shortlisting.
