Crop & condition procurement guide

Greenhouse Tomato Fertilizer Procurement

A greenhouse tomato fertilizer request starts with the growing system, a current water analysis and an agronomist-approved product programme. Buy against product specifications and a crop-cycle delivery plan, not a universal tomato NPK recipe.

Human-led sourcing starts at USD 250,000 for the requested fertilizer supply programme. Free planning tools remain available for smaller or unconfirmed budgets.

Fertigation dosing and stock-tank equipment; equipment procurement is separate from fertilizer supply

Evidence to prepare before requesting offers

Soil, substrate or recirculation

State whether tomatoes grow in soil, free-drain substrate or a recirculating system. Record hectares, planting dates, crop-cycle length and stock-tank arrangements. These are specification inputs, not reasons to apply an automatic dosage multiplier.

Water and programme approval

Provide the dated source-water analysis and the approved list of products, grades and quantities. Ask your agronomist to account for nutrients already in the water and any recycled solution; source-water EC alone cannot establish a fertilizer recipe.

Lot and mixing documentation

Request the guaranteed analysis, lot-specific Certificate of Analysis, Safety Data Sheet and documented solubility for the proposed grade. Ask the agronomist and dosing designer to confirm stock-tank separation and compatibility using the actual product documents.

Compare the right procurement scope

Water-soluble versus granular offers
Do not substitute a granular commodity quote for a specified soluble grade. Compare nutrient declaration, insolubles, handling requirements and packaging on the same documented basis.
One shipment versus staged supply
Separate total programme tonnage from the quantity and date of each shipment. Check storage conditions, shelf life and delivery assumptions in writing; a proposed calendar is not confirmed availability.

Fertilizer quantity & quoted-cost calculator

One approved product per calculation. Enter product mass in kg/ha/cycle, not kg of nutrient, ppm or a daily dose. No crop-based rates or prices are supplied.

Programme purchase estimate

Enter a valid area, approved product rate, whole number of cycles and pack size. Prices and charges are optional; unknown costs remain unavailable.

Required kg = hectares × approved product kg/ha/cycle × cycles. Purchase mass rounds up to whole packs. No agronomic, salinity or loss allowance is inferred. Quote currency does not establish a USD qualification budget.

Price evidence & quote boundaries

A regional urea observation does not price a greenhouse soluble-grade programme. Obtain dated quotations for each approved product and keep dosing equipment, substrate and water-treatment investment outside the fertilizer total.

Existing official references below are dated context, not today's offers. They never populate the calculator.

No verified official fertilizer price is available here for Morocco. Obtain a dated product quotation; no price is inferred.

Buyer questions

No. Enter an agronomist-approved product mass in kg per hectare per crop cycle, not a nutrient rate or concentration. Required product mass equals hectares × that rate × cycles; whole-pack purchasing is rounded up.

No. Official references retain their published period, currency, unit, region and eligibility caveats. A subsidy or regional observation is not a commercial quote and is never used automatically in the calculator.

Yes, use the existing private fertilizer RFQ and confirm crop, specification, quantities, destination, schedule, budget and consent. Human-led sourcing requires a requested supply programme of at least USD 250,000; smaller or unconfirmed budgets can use the free tools without creating a qualified sourcing lead. Supplier identities and communications remain private through SeedMatchGroup.
