Crop & condition procurement guide
Fertilizer Procurement with Variable Water Quality
Saline or variable water calls for documented analysis and specialist review before a fertilizer purchase. Record the source, sampling date and proposed products; a water-quality label must never trigger an automatic fertilizer dose, compatibility claim or treatment recommendation.
Human-led sourcing starts at USD 250,000 for the requested fertilizer supply programme. Free planning tools remain available for smaller or unconfirmed budgets.

Evidence to prepare before requesting offers
A dated and representative analysis
State whether the source is a borehole, reservoir, municipal supply, desalinated water or a blend. Supply laboratory results, sampling dates and any documented seasonal or blending changes. Ask the specialist which additional tests are needed; missing evidence remains unknown.
Product and system compatibility
Supply the proposed product analyses, SDS, solubility documents and stock-tank arrangement. Request written review by the agronomist and dosing designer against the actual water results; this page does not certify a mix or set EC, pH or ion thresholds.
Separate treatment scope
Water-treatment equipment, acid/base dosing equipment and recurring fertilizer products require distinct scope lines. Treatment may change the water entering the crop system, so obtain the approved post-treatment design basis before calculating product purchases.
Compare the right procurement scope
- Evidence gaps versus purchase readiness
- An undated water report, unknown blend ratio or missing product documentation is a review gap, not evidence that more fertilizer is required. Keep unresolved technical questions in the RFQ and avoid claiming suitability.
- Tender exclusions
- State which party validates the programme and which services are excluded from a fertilizer quote. Compare treatment equipment separately from recurring inputs and specify any requested testing or commissioning evidence.

Fertilizer quantity & quoted-cost calculator
One approved product per calculation. Enter product mass in kg/ha/cycle, not kg of nutrient, ppm or a daily dose. No crop-based rates or prices are supplied.
Programme purchase estimate
Enter a valid area, approved product rate, whole number of cycles and pack size. Prices and charges are optional; unknown costs remain unavailable.
Required kg = hectares × approved product kg/ha/cycle × cycles. Purchase mass rounds up to whole packs. No agronomic, salinity or loss allowance is inferred. Quote currency does not establish a USD qualification budget.
Price evidence & quote boundaries
No salinity surcharge, savings factor or extra product quantity is calculated. Only approved product mass and prices entered by the buyer affect this estimate; water treatment and energy remain separate budgets.
Existing official references below are dated context, not today's offers. They never populate the calculator.
No verified official fertilizer price is available here for Morocco. Obtain a dated product quotation; no price is inferred.
Buyer questions
No. Enter an agronomist-approved product mass in kg per hectare per crop cycle, not a nutrient rate or concentration. Required product mass equals hectares × that rate × cycles; whole-pack purchasing is rounded up.
No. Official references retain their published period, currency, unit, region and eligibility caveats. A subsidy or regional observation is not a commercial quote and is never used automatically in the calculator.
Yes, use the existing private fertilizer RFQ and confirm crop, specification, quantities, destination, schedule, budget and consent. Human-led sourcing requires a requested supply programme of at least USD 250,000; smaller or unconfirmed budgets can use the free tools without creating a qualified sourcing lead. Supplier identities and communications remain private through SeedMatchGroup.
