Crop & condition procurement guide
Potato Fertilizer Procurement
A potato fertilizer purchase should follow the site's soil analysis and an approved programme for the intended crop and market. Specify products, physical form and delivery windows; do not select a potash source or application rate from a generic crop label.
Human-led sourcing starts at USD 250,000 for the requested fertilizer supply programme. Free planning tools remain available for smaller or unconfirmed budgets.

Evidence to prepare before requesting offers
Site and intended market
Record location, hectares, planting window and whether the crop is intended for fresh-market or processing use. Supply soil-test results and the agronomist's product programme. Market requirements inform the technical review but do not prove a particular fertilizer is suitable.
Application method
State whether products will be broadcast, banded or applied through irrigation. For granular products, request physical-form and handling specifications; for fertigation, request grade-specific solubility and compatibility evidence from the product documents.
Shipment and receiving plan
Break seasonal product tonnage into requested shipments, pack sizes and required arrival dates. State destination, storage conditions, importer responsibilities and acceptance documentation. Do not treat a requested date as a confirmed delivery promise.
Compare the right procurement scope
- Potassium-source specification
- MOP and SOP are different products, not interchangeable price lines. Ask the agronomist to approve the appropriate source for the soil, water and crop-quality requirements, then compare offers against that specification.
- Nutrient rate versus product mass
- An approved nutrient rate is not the same as kilograms of fertilizer product. Obtain the product conversion from the approved programme before entering kg/ha/cycle in the procurement planner.

Fertilizer quantity & quoted-cost calculator
One approved product per calculation. Enter product mass in kg/ha/cycle, not kg of nutrient, ppm or a daily dose. No crop-based rates or prices are supplied.
Programme purchase estimate
Enter a valid area, approved product rate, whole number of cycles and pack size. Prices and charges are optional; unknown costs remain unavailable.
Required kg = hectares × approved product kg/ha/cycle × cycles. Purchase mass rounds up to whole packs. No agronomic, salinity or loss allowance is inferred. Quote currency does not establish a USD qualification budget.
Price evidence & quote boundaries
Compare product price per metric tonne with the same analysis, packaging and delivery basis. Landed fertilizer cost requires the actual freight, taxes, handling and transport assumptions; no crop-based per-hectare price is asserted.
Existing official references below are dated context, not today's offers. They never populate the calculator.
No verified official fertilizer price is available here for Morocco. Obtain a dated product quotation; no price is inferred.
Buyer questions
No. Enter an agronomist-approved product mass in kg per hectare per crop cycle, not a nutrient rate or concentration. Required product mass equals hectares × that rate × cycles; whole-pack purchasing is rounded up.
No. Official references retain their published period, currency, unit, region and eligibility caveats. A subsidy or regional observation is not a commercial quote and is never used automatically in the calculator.
Yes, use the existing private fertilizer RFQ and confirm crop, specification, quantities, destination, schedule, budget and consent. Human-led sourcing requires a requested supply programme of at least USD 250,000; smaller or unconfirmed budgets can use the free tools without creating a qualified sourcing lead. Supplier identities and communications remain private through SeedMatchGroup.
