Buyers get more than a price. Every SeedMatchGroup RFQ is backed by the four commercial safeguards that separate serious international seed procurement from a risky purchase order.
We coordinate lot-referenced seed samples — with certificate of analysis, germination percentage and purity data — shipped to your address so you can inspect quality before committing to a container.
For higher-risk purchases we arrange 2–5 candidate varieties for side-by-side trial in your climate and soil. You get decision-grade agronomic data before scaling to commercial volume.
Our specialists advise on hybrid vs open-pollinated, disease-resistance packages, maturity groups and target-market fit — matched to your growing region, crop cycle and end-customer requirements.
Phytosanitary certificates, ISTA seed analysis, non-GMO declarations, ISF orange certificates, import permits, commercial invoices and country-specific labelling — prepared and reviewed by our team.
Grade your RFQ across nine enterprise procurement axes.
Private and optional. Answer yes / no on each dimension — your sourcing specialist uses the same rubric internal EPC procurement teams do to shortlist suppliers.
Two minutes before you submit — check you have the essentials.
Optional and private. Nothing is sent to suppliers — this checklist just helps you and your sourcing specialist move faster once the RFQ is in.

Financing questions, answered
Documents, timelines and terms.
Working capital, equipment and project finance can move in parallel with your RFQ. Here is what to prepare, how long each track takes and what lenders typically expect — supplier-neutral, before you submit.
Can I attach a financing request to my RFQ?
Yes. When you submit an RFQ you can indicate whether you need working-capital financing, equipment / CAPEX financing, or full project finance. A sourcing specialist routes the request to the right financing partner in parallel with the supplier shortlist so both tracks move together.
What documents should I prepare before submitting a financed RFQ?
For most working-capital and equipment requests: two to three years of audited or reviewed financial statements, a recent management account, business registration and beneficial-ownership documents, KYC on directors, and a one-page description of the project or purchase order. For larger project finance, add a feasibility study, off-take letters of intent, land and utility documentation, environmental assessments and a construction / commissioning plan.
What financing types are available?
Working-capital lines for buying seed and inputs against confirmed orders; equipment and CAPEX financing (loans or lease) for irrigation, greenhouses, machinery, solar, storage and drones; and project finance for larger multi-year builds. Trade-finance instruments such as letters of credit and supplier credit can also be structured around the RFQ.
How long does financing typically take?
Indicative terms for working-capital and equipment financing are usually available within 5–10 business days once the documents above are complete. Project finance is longer — 6–12 weeks is typical from a complete data pack to term sheet, depending on jurisdiction, structure and lender.
How much equity or down payment do lenders expect?
Working-capital lines are commonly secured against receivables and inventory with limited down payment. Equipment / CAPEX financing typically expects 20–40% owner contribution. Project finance normally expects 25–40% equity and material off-take commitments. These are indicative ranges — your dedicated specialist confirms actuals per lender and market.
Which currencies and countries do you cover?
USD, EUR and GBP are the primary financing currencies. Local-currency structures are available in select markets. Financing partners cover 60+ countries across Africa, the Middle East, Europe, Latin America and Southeast Asia. Availability, tenor and pricing vary by country risk and instrument.
Are financing terms tied to a specific supplier?
No. SeedMatchGroup and its financing partners are supplier-neutral. Financing is structured around your project and off-take — not around a preferred vendor — so you keep full control of the supplier shortlist from the RFQ.
Is my RFQ or financing information shared with suppliers?
Never in the shortlist stage. Suppliers receive a scoped brief without your company name, financials or financing structure. Identities are only exchanged once you choose to move forward with a specific offer.
Common questions.
What is a seed RFQ?
A Request For Quotation (RFQ) is a structured procurement document that specifies exactly what seed a buyer needs — crop, variety class, volume, certifications, delivery terms and timeline. A well-built seed RFQ lets multiple suppliers respond with directly comparable offers, replacing months of unstructured email with days of neutral evaluation.
Is the RFQ Builder free?
Yes. There is no fee to submit an RFQ or receive a curated commercial proposal. SeedMatchGroup is a private sourcing specialist — buyers never pay to search.
How many suppliers will I hear from?
Typically 3–8 shortlisted offers per RFQ, depending on crop and region. Every offer comes from a verified producer that our AI and human specialists have pre-qualified against your brief.
In which languages can I submit an RFQ?
The RFQ Builder is available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Arabic, Russian, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Japanese, Korean, Turkish, Dutch and Polish. Our sourcing team responds in your working language.
Which crops can I source through the RFQ Builder?
Vegetable seeds, greenhouse seeds, organic seeds, F1 hybrid seeds, open-field seeds, climate-resistant varieties, forage seeds, tree and nursery seeds, medicinal and aromatic plants, specialty crop seeds, and oil crops including sunflower, canola/rapeseed, sesame, safflower and soybean.
Do I ever see supplier names?
Only once you have chosen to move forward with a specific offer. SeedMatchGroup keeps supplier identities private during the shortlist and negotiation phase to protect both sides and give buyers a neutral evaluation.
Can I request seed samples before ordering a container?
Yes. Every RFQ can include a lot-referenced sample request with certificate of analysis, germination and purity data. For higher-value purchases we also arrange side-by-side field trials with 2–5 candidate varieties before commercial commitment.
Do you handle export and import documentation?
Yes. Our team prepares and reviews phytosanitary certificates, ISTA seed analysis, non-GMO declarations, ISF orange certificates, commercial invoices, import permits and country-specific labelling on behalf of the buyer.
