Technically the project is a ventilated greenhouse or net-house with insect exclusion, not a cooled house. Heat and humidity favour high vent ratios, tall gutters and screens against whitefly and Tuta absoluta. Power reliability and water security drive as much CAPEX as the structure itself.
Post-harvest is where projects are won or lost: pre-cooling, crates instead of raffia baskets, a cold room sized to peak harvest and a transport plan agreed with the offtaker before the first plant goes in.
