Is a climate computer needed for a small commercial greenhouse?
For anything over ~2,000 m² with heating, ventilation and fertigation, yes. A proper climate computer coordinates ventilation, screens, cooling, heating, CO₂ and fertigation from one integrated logic — the daily VPD and temperature dynamics that a modern crop plan requires cannot be run manually. Below 2,000 m² a simpler zone controller can be enough, but scales poorly.
